BIG PHARMACY AT WORK HERE IN KENTUCKY.
IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED..IF YOU CARE ABOUT THIS STATE…THIS PLANT..AND IT’S FARMERS.

Legislators’ Hot Line: 1-800-372-7181
Legislative alert:
HB 333 – Fentanyl Bill:

In this bill they have buried something that will undo a lot of the good work Jamie Comer did when he was Ag Commissioner.

This bill deals with Fentanyl, not Industrial Hemp or CBD oil.

Right now, Big Pharma, more specifically GW Pharmaceuticals is working on a synthetic CBD Oil for prescription to be allowed by the FDA.

In Section 25 (d) of this bill it tinkers with what Marijuana is and is not, and what Marijuana will not be in Kentucky if this passes is CBD Oil Prescription Approved by the FDA.

By doing this any natural CBD oil from Industrial Hemp plants that is not prescribed will then be by default Marijuana, and thus a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance.

What needs to happen is Section 25(d) needs to be stricken as not germane, or amended to included CBD oil from Industrial Hemp.

TBK Opposes, if these changes are not made.

ACTION: Call Rep. Moser and your Representative and see if we can get section 25 (d) changed. – Reported favorably out of committee, posted for passage, floor amendment filed that does not address our concerns.

Send this to your Kentucky Legislators NOW!!!!

In 1969, the 1937 marijuana tax stamp act was declared unconstitutional.

In 1970 they began creating the 1970 Controlled substances Act and without any scientific input made marijuana schedule one, right up there with heroin. A schedule that cannot be questioned or changed without the approval of the Drug Enforcement Administration. Very few drugs are in this category.

Now we know it was all a political scam to use the drug war to go after and suppress Nixon’s enemies. We know this for sure because the Nixon Administration said so.

The cover story in the April 2016 edition of Harper’s Magazine was, “Legalize it all” written by Dan Baum. Mister Baum was asking Nixon aide John Ehrlichman questions about the politics of drug prohibition and as he tells it, Ehrlichman asked,

“You want to know what this was really all about?” He went on to say, “The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did”.

The new AG, Senator Sessions is saying he is going to step up the war on pot users. For what reason?

They claim States Rights when deciding whether or not to protect transgender kids’ right to go to the bathroom of their choice, but not when deciding a State Marijuana policy!

Please ease the fears of the tens of thousands of marijuana users in our State and send a message to the new administration that as a State we will not be bullied by the Feds.

PS: Scientifically, there is a 25% drop in opioid overdose deaths in the first year after passage of a medical marijuana bill that grows to 33% by year 6 after legalization. that means 250 of our citizens will die in the coming year if a bill is not passed this year.

So Git Busy!

You may never know but passage might save the life of one of your family members!

Richard James Rawlings with Gatewood Galbraith in Glasgow, Kentucky 2011

The U.S. Marijuana Party, did, on February 24, 2013, loose one of its first and most influential Presidents,

Second only to Loretta Nall, who preceded him as the first President of the USMJParty in 2002.

Richard James Rawlings took the head of the table in 2005 after Ms. Nall’s resignation.

He actively ran for Congress in Peoria Illinois several times.  He promoted many legalization activities in the Peoria area of Illinois and attended many more events in various states until he began to become ill in 2009-10.

It was not until July of 2012 that he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Throat, Lung and Adrenal Cancer.

At the age of 51, he died peacefully at his mother’s home where we had resided since shortly after his hospitalization in Glasgow Kentucky for two weeks in July 2012 where he received the diagnosis and the surgery for the trach which he would continue to wear until the night of his death when I removed it.

All of his family were with him almost constantly during the last two weeks.  And I am forever grateful to them for all their support to me during this most difficult time.

His death broke my Heart.  We were not only coworkers, friends and companions – we were lovers and partners.

He will never be forgotten by me and I know the same sentiment holds true with all of his family, friends and followers.

May what he stood for never be forgotten:  Repeal of Hemp/Marijuana/Cannabis Laws at best or Legalization at least.

In memory of cannabis activist Laura Kriho

By Sarah Haas – February 9, 2017

In September 2013, Boulder was soaking wet, but on the 23rd the rain stopped, the clouds parted and the sun shined down on the bricks of Pearl Street. It was there Laura Kriho joined a group of cannabis freedom fighters who gathered to hand out hundreds of free joints amid spontaneous chants of “Free the weed!” As with any good protest chant its meaning wasn’t just literal, but symbolic of a bigger picture.

The weed given away that day had been in jail, actually locked in an evidence room for the past two years. When it was released to lawyer Rob Corry, he, Kriho and others in the activist community decided to give it away. They hoped to call attention to the marijuana tax issue appearing on the upcoming November ballot as Proposition AA, a marijuana tax hike to which they were staunchly opposed.

Kriho thought that Amendment 64 was already too strict and the additional taxes that would be instituted with Proposition AA were a step backwards, away from a free market and toward prohibition. Later that week, Kriho wrote about the giveaway in a guest column for “Weed Between the Lines” in Boulder Weekly: “This tax debate highlights what has become a very clear division between cannabis supporters. There are those who support an expensive ‘strict regulation’ model paid for by high taxes, and there are those who continue to support simple “legalization” with reasonable taxes and regulations.

“To most people, ‘legalization’ means that prohibition laws are repealed, people are no longer punished for cannabis use, and police resources are used to fight serious crimes. However, A64’s ‘strict regulation’ model does the opposite of this in many cases. The A64 model allows some people to have some marijuana at some times, but it continues marijuana prohibition for other people with other amounts of marijuana at other times.”

A cannabis activist in Boulder since 1992, Kriho didn’t just fight for legalization, but for “marijuana freedom” beyond regulation, taxes and industry. Whether working to legalize industrial hemp at the federal level in the mid-’90s, ushering in Amendment 20 to bring medical marijuana programs to Colorado in the aughts or for patient’s rights and adult-use cannabis in more recent years, Kriho was a staple of the front lines, fighting to liberate cannabis from prohibitionist laws and attitudes.

Friend, fellow activist and chairman of the U.S. Marijuana Party William Wayward Chengelis remembers the day he met Kriho, in 2008 at a Youth International Party rally taking place at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

“I’d heard about her before — I mean, when you look at hemp or cannabis in the state of Colorado, Laura’s been there since the beginning — she’s always been there,” he says. “And now that I’ve known her and worked by her side I can say that she always stood up for what she believed and never backed down, not once. She was a yippie through and through.”

A term from the ’60s for politically active hippies fighting for freedom and against war, Kriho wore the yippie badge proudly, but it wasn’t always easy. People didn’t always like her, even more people disagreed and still more categorically wrote her views off as unrealistic.

On top of that, she wasn’t successful half as much as she was unsuccessful. Her early federal hemp bills were killed in the Senate, year-after-year, the medical policies she espoused were disfigured beyond recognition by the time they made their way to state law and despite fighting against Amendment 64 because it was too regulated, too corporate and too prohibitionist, it passed. Even Proposition AA, which she sought to combat by handing out free joints, passed by a wide margin. And yet her influence cannot be overlooked nor her tenacity understated.

“One of the things about us yippies is that we get in your face,” Chengelis says. “Laura got in people’s faces. Sometimes she won, sometimes she lost, but she never gave up.“

For Kriho, there was no such thing as compromise and concession was not an option — she knew her stuff, knew what she believed in and didn’t temper herself in voicing her opinions. In many ways she was the epitome of Trump’s “nasty woman,” a term hurled as an insult but claimed as a heroic trait, and it is precisely in this spirit that she and her activism gain their most salient legacy.

“Her and I have two philosophies in life,” Chengelis says. “First, what you don’t know, learn. What you do know, teach.

“The other is: Show up, do the work and hope for positive results. That is where her and I met and that’s where we always agreed. You gotta get out there and you gotta do it. You can say whatever you want, but if you do not show up and do the work, nothing gets done.”

Surrounded by friends and family, Laura Kriho died on Jan. 30, 2017, in Boulder, at the age of 52.

Would a Border Water Canal Be Better Than President Trump’s Border Wall?

By CrisEricson2016 | Tue, January 31 2017

POTUS BORDER WALL?

POTUS stands for President of the United States of America. Our current President is Donald J. Trump and he wants to build a Border Wall between the United States of America and Mexico.

Some people think this is a male fantasy, a type of penis elongation wet dream, spitting out illegal aliens instead of sperm.

Many Presidents of the United States of America have been known to love sex, such as POTUS John F. Kennedy and POTUS Bill Clinton. Men with high testosterone levels need lots of activity to release their urges. Running for political office is therapy for them, they need to shake a lot of hands, they need all that contact with people. They probably have some honey bee DNA.

President Donald J. Trump probably also has some pittbull DNA from eating genetically modified foods, as well as a little un-neutered male cat DNA. The Donald needs to mark his territory.

Citizens shouldn’t try to curtail his instinctive behavior, there are other ways to deal with The Donald.

So, how do we deal with The Donald? Your guess is as good as mine, but I’ll give it a try!

Please keep in mind that rousing protests outside the White House will only excite and stimulate President Donald J. Trump, so you may be certain his wife will probably get pregnant again soon.

My first tactic in dealing with The Donald is to keep in mind that he is sexy, and virulent and moist, overall. Sexy men like water, they like the idea of slipping and sliding in and out. So, how do we turn a Border Wall into a Border Water Canal concept?

A Border Wall doesn’t have to be a Wall at all;
it could be an agricultural canal to supply fresh water along the border, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean, overseen by drones the whole length.

A Border Canal would create a new green growing zone all along the Border between Mexico and Texas and Mexico and New Mexico and Mexico and Arizona and Mexico and California, a great deal of which is desert sands. This would create permanent new farms and jobs taking care of fruit and vegetable crops, and new schools for the children, etc.

Half of the water from the new Border Canal would go to agricultural fruit and vegetable farms in Mexico, for a per-gallon fee; and half would go to agricultural fruit and vegetable farms in the American States of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. I would suggest a stipulation that none goes to cattle ranches, but they would scream their heads off, because cattle weigh more and get more money (per pound) at the scales when the cattle are allowed to drink more water. Actually, let the cattle have water, so long as their cow platters go fertilizing   the fruit tree farms.

Also, to pay for the Border Canal, and to give tours to the protesters who will be shrieking their heads off that to build a Border Canal is an environmental disaster digging up natural areas and protected parks, we will have lots of solar powered motor boats with computer GPS chips.

The tourists can rent the solar powered motor boats and likewise, the protesters, so they can charge up and down the 2,000 stretch of canal waving protest signs against environmental destruction of natural areas – and while they are shouting chants, they will see all of the fruit and vegetable agricultural farms are vibrant and alive, green and growing, and the cattle gazing on green grass and alfalfa are fat. 2,000 miles of farms on each side of the Border Canal, lots of new employment.

So, how is President Donald J. Trump going to pay for this new Border Canal? He’s not! Ridiculous! Why should he? He has resources! Aren’t there about 2 million people in prison in the United States of America? Sitting there with a roof over their heads, served three meals a day and getting fat? Put them to work! Take them back from the private-for-profit prisons! They should be working for the taxpayers, not the private-for-profit prisons!

Your arithmetic is probably pretty good, even if you went to public schools in the U.S.A. and were socially promoted from one grade to the next higher grade without learning anything because of the “mafia” – oops, I mean the Teachers’ Union.

Well, lets give it a try here: a 2000 mile long Border Canal divided by about 1,000,000 (million) healthy prisoners (skip the other million, they are being denied health care in prison and denied outdoor exercise and served fake chemical slop instead of food) – comes to about 250 prisoners per 1/2 (one-half) mile. How long will it take 250 prisoners per each one-half mile of the Border Canal to dig it wide enough and deep enough to carry water all the way from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean, and have cruising room on the surface for solar powered motor boats? Remember, a lot of this area is sand and rock, so don’t get excited about this happening overnight.
Go out in your own yard and dig a hole any size and measure it and time it, and then start multiplying one million prisoners doing that.

Well, you get the idea, this would require computer models like a video game or cartoon. 2,000 miles, lots of sand and rock, and one million prisoners. Extreme heat will make them collapse unless the working hours are very early before sun up and late in the day after sun down. Mexicans have an afternoon siesta for a reason. And you have to have trailers for the prisoners to sleep in and food served to them. You have to be ready to trust the prisoners with pick axes – (do you like that part of it?)

President Donald J. Trump could grant pardons to prisoners who perform above average and sing songs while working to keep other workers happy.

If too many prisoners get sick from  heat exhaustion, just arrest a bunch of the protesters and put them to work. Remember, we are talking 90 degrees in the shade during morning and evening in some desert areas.

There are no cool hours in the desert depending on the time of year.

Now, you tell me why the Border Water Canal won’t work to keep undocumented illegal aliens from crossing the border between Mexico and the United States of America?

Think about the terrorists pretending to be Mexicans and El Salvadorans and Guatemalans; do you seriously think any border patrol agent can tell the difference? Think again! The undocumented illegal aliens can swim across the Border Canal, they can use a disposable blow-up air raft, they can snorkel across or use under-water diving equipment and air tanks – so how would POTUS stop all of that?

President Donald Trump would certainly have flying spy drones patrolling the entire 2,000 mile Border Canal with border police speeding east and west along the Canal, some of them having once worked on cattle ranches would use lassos to capture the swimming illegal aliens, and large fish nets, and POTUS would erect huge American Flag poles with whale nets attached to the bottom of the flag poles and sunk underwater, so every now and then a crane next to the flag pole could lift up the net and remove some of the illegal aliens. Oooops- nasty phrase, I mean undocumented workers.

Of course, if President Donald Trump fills up the 2,000 mile Border Canal with Killer Whales and Sharks, that’s not really fair, their natural diet does not include illegal aliens and they could get sick and the nature lovers would protest like crazy. We all want a Movie of the first 100 Days in Office of POTUS Donald Trump, but we don’t want to be too grossed out.

Part of the Border Canal will be allocated to fish farms, of course, that only makes common sense, because the flow of water would be going from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean, and the Border Canal would be wide enough and deep enough to section off fish farms where the fish are lured down open pipes into breeding areas. This is all good, more jobs.

Now, what if an illegal alien undocumented worker actual gets across the Border Canal? No problems, just have a drone pick him up and with robotic gripper arms, slip on a GPS bracelet and hand cuffs and deliver the worker to any farm anywhere in the U.S.A. which has contacted Amazon, or any such company, for a Drone Delivery, and drop the worker off with a new social security number and automatic billing and garnishment of wages for taxes installed in a computer chip drilled into the worker during the Drone Deliver Flight. No one will hear the worker screaming up in the sky at the right altitude.

Are you still thinking that President Donald J. Trump’s Wall idea is better than this Border Water Canal idea? Think of the Border Canal as a birth canal. Fish farms, Lobster, I’m already hungry, pass the butter, please!

To tell POTUS, President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, to not build a Border Wall or a Border Canal, would have as much effect as telling a bird not to build a nest, or to tell a pit-bull not to dig holes all over your front yard – it’s in their DNA; like an artist descended by a caveman who did cave drawings, you can’t stop certain behavior.

How many children in the U.S.A. are given building blocks to play with?

So, get used to it. President Donald Trump just happens to have more testosterone than our most recent President, and this trend is born out in scientific research – apparently men born more recently have 30% less testosterone – and chemicals used for insecticides may be the reason. Glyphosate, for one, is blamed by some scientists
for reducing male testosterone. The Donald must build. All we can do is re-direct him to digging rather than stacking blocks.

Please take the time to search internet images
for the border between Texas and Mexico, and New Mexico and Mexico, and Arizona and Mexico, and California and Mexico. Imagine a Border Wall or a Border Canal in those photos you see on the internet.

Ignorance abounds in Kentucky concerning cannabis law

In October, farmworkers transported harvested marijuana plants at Los Suenos Farms, America’s largest legal open-air marijuana farm, in southern Colorado.

The following story was printed on Kentucky.com and my response is included.

By Thomas Vance

The world is watching Colorado and is finding out that everything we have been told by our government about marijuana has not been factual, to put it nicely.

Colorado legalized medical marijuana in 2012 and recreational in 2014. They have paid more than $150 million in taxes on $1.3 billion in sales for 2016 and have created more than 20,000 full-time jobs in the process and none of the predicted harms of legalization have materialized.

California has had an easy access medical marijuana program for 20 years and none of the terrible things we have been told will happen should cannabis be legal have happened.

All we have to do is copy Colorado’s regulations and standards and get on with it. What are we waiting for? The people in our eastern counties are praying for something to replace the coal industry. God has one ready to go for us and we are ignoring his help.

It’s like the old joke about the guy trapped on his roof in a flood. He prays for God to save him. A helicopter comes by and offers to pick the man up. “No, no, thanks anyway but God said he would save me.”

After a while a boat comes and offers to pick up the man. Again he says no because, “God will save me.”

Later on that night, the waters rose and the man drowned. When he gets up to Heaven He asks God, “Why, why God, didn’t you save me?” and God replies, “I sent you a boat and a helicopter, why didn’t you get in?”

Let’s take this winning lottery ticket the good Lord has given us: an industry safer and healthier than coal. Alleviate the suffering of our eastern counties, create thousands of jobs, garner millions in revenue, enable billions in economic activity and put that money to work for the citizens of our great state.

It would seem that if we get to the end of this legislative session and nothing is done, one could reasonably conclude the Republican-controlled legislature is being derelict in its duty to improve the lives and the well being of our citizens and our state.

Industrial hemp, medical marijuana and recreational marijuana are three distinctly different and separate issues. Far too many times, advocates have appeared to champion the first two and then they show their true colors and advocate for the third. This puts a cloud of suspicion over the motives for supporting industrial hemp and medical marijuana.
You do your cause no favors by mentioning Colorado’s approval of recreational use if you are really advocating medical use. I suspect you are really for full legalization and are just using medical use as an incremental step.
Be honest about your motives. It won’t make me support recreational legalization — I don’t — but it will allow me to respect your efforts.

MY RESPONSE:

It is people like HB and JOHN below who are complicit in keeping the repeal of cannabis hemp laws out of KY. Unfortunately most of the politicians in KY have the same mindset.

It all boils down to who has the money now and who they don’t want to have any in the future.

Personally, I am not a legalizer, I am a repealer, meaning that I believe all Cannabis statutes from the Federal Government and UN should be abolished as they are illegal to begin with in my opinion. (Do your own research because I am tired) Legalization renders to regulation which renders to incarceration because, well, what can be more profitable than the prison industrial complex?

This plant has been useful for all of humanity’s existence and will continue to be,  regardless of whether it is legalized or not. (Again, do the research).. The sad part is all the people that could be helped (and one day it may be YOU) that will suffer and die needlessly because of evil people whose only concern in life is how much money they can scarf up from everyone else.

In the meantime, many peoples lives are being saved or at least made better by an illegal plant that God put here, by people who are risking there very lives to get this to those that need it – real patients.

Yes, there are those of us who enjoy smoking a good cannabis ‘cig’ – It helps relieve the mind of stress and pain. Sure is a lot better than the alcohol which most people consume on a daily basis and end up dying from in the long run…

So, I guess until everyone gets their heads on straight about Cannabis, everyone will continue to suffer from statutes, regulation, and imprisonment because people are either too stupid to educate themselves, or are too evil to care.

Which one are YOU???

Carol Kerr ~ HAPPY PATIENT in Legal Medical Cannabis State!!

Why I choose cannabis…

November 25, 2010 at 9:21pm

There are millions of people across this great nation suffering from chronic pain and illness who are legally receiving relief via prescription medications. As a patient that suffers with chronic, debilitating pain from a brain malformation, I can attest to the damage long-term use of prescription medications can do to the human mind and body.

Just last year I lost my brother due to an accidental overdose of hydrocodone prior to back surgery. He didn’t just slip off into the night after falling asleep. He died clutching his chest and screaming in pain, and there was nothing anyone could do. Yet, there are still pharmacies conveniently located on nearly every corner across the country dispensing the poison every day.

For the record, I am not a drug addict, nor do not wish to be addicted to ANY substance, however due to the illnesses I have, I must medicate with SOMETHING regularly to achieve any reasonable measure of “quality of life.” And the one prescription medication that provides some relief is full of liver damaging acetaphetamin and isn’t covered by Medicare.

Plus, the doctor told me that though it relieves my headaches, with regular use it “increases” headaches. Ohhh, so I’ll need more addictive pain medication due to the increased headaches it causes, which will damage my liver all that much faster… are you seeing the RIDICULOUS, vicious circle? Not only are the prescription drugs inadequate and expensive, but I’ve suffered through withdrawal on numerous occasions from addictive pain medications, even spending three days in ICU on a respirator from a Fentanyl patch!

Cannabis is an effective, NON-ADDICTIVE medication that helps me.  Yet, when I don’t have cannabis, I don’t get the sweats, have increased blood pressure, vomit, itch, cry, and wig out!!! I just hurt, try not to move any more than I have to, and keep to myself… survival mode. Not a healthy or pleasant way to live.

As a result of prescription medications I have the onset of liver disease. My digestive system is impaired to the point that I literally have no appetite. Without medication I am consumed with pain to the point that my activities of daily living are limited and socialization with others is not an option. Inhaled cannabis quickly sends the cannabinoids directly to the blood stream via your lungs.

Yet, cannabis doesn’t impair one’s ability to function for long periods of time, cause nausea, or shut down the bowels like prescription pain medications. And while smoking may not be the best option for me, it’s the only one available due to prohibition. For the record, I would prefer to ingest cannabis, but it takes a larger quantity of product to produce a sufficient amount.

For over a year the American Medical Association has urged the federal government to reconsider its stance on cannabis, to change the classification from a Class 1 drug. This means the AMA recognizes that cannabis has medicinal qualities that could be beneficial to a patient’s health. The AMA also states that cannabis deserves more research.

A randomized placebo-controlled trial was conducted at San Francisco General Hospital (with) nine doctors and 50 patients involved. Patients suffered from HIV-associated neuropathic pain. “The first cannabis cigarette reduced chronic pain by a median of 72 percent versus 15 percent with placebo. No adverse events reported.” Throughout length of trial “pain was reduced by 34 percent.”

Conclusion: “Smoked cannabis was well tolerated and effectively relieved chronic neuropathic pain from HIV-associated sensory neuropathy. The findings are comparable to oral drugs used for chronic neuropathic pain.”

Latest polling shows 65 percent of Americans support medicinal cannabis with doctor supervision. If comparable to pain pills, shouldn’t the doctor be deciding whether cannabis is the better choice for the patient? Patients should not have to fear imprisonment or the horrible side effects of prescription drugs, especially when there are scientific facts that favor the medicinal use of cannabis.

This matter is not about the legalization of “drugs.” We, as patients, do not condone the use of any drug without doctor supervision. This is about compassion and understanding of others suffering, knowing that cannabis helps them regain their lives and get on with living life to the fullest, not needlessly suffering from the pain of illness or the ugly side effects from pain medications.

Fifteen states have passed legislation in favor of medicinal marijuana. We are well on our way to helping people understand that cannabis is not the harmful drug previously demonized by well meaning, but ill informed political figures. SB 1381, the compassionate use of cannabis 3-year pilot program is coming up for a vote in Illinois. This is our chance to free our countrymen and women from the ill side effects of pain medications.

Patients and doctors alike deserve the right to pursue happiness as stated in our Constitution. We must allow patients to choose the best course of action in medical matters without fear of imprisonment. We must take our medicine out of the hands of greedy drug-lords, and allow safe access to good medicine for  sick and suffering patients.

Cannabis has been proven to help people time and time again. New and fascinating facts about the benefits of medicinally using cannabis are being reported every day. And I am living proof that it works!  This is not an issue of morals, but one of science and compassion for the sick and suffering. We aren’t encouraging anyone to use cannabis. We just want our God-given right to pain relief in the manner which helps us best.

As a responsible citizen of IL I am appalled that I am forced to pay outrageous prices for medicine, lining the pockets of black market drug dealers.  When as a sick patient I should be receiving quality medicine, regulated by the government, provided by state governed agencies which would benefit patients, while strengthening our economy and providing legitimate jobs! You know, with the right medicine given on a regular basis, I just may be able to work again.. or at least take care of MYSELF without the assistance of others.

Cannabis relieves the pain, takes my mind off my poor health, gives me an appetite, and helps me to get out enjoy the life I have left without the hangovers and side effects of man-made medications. May the powers that be hear our voices and bring relief to the suffering citizens of Illinois! No patient should be denied safe access to their medication!!

The fact of the matter is, patients who NEED medicinal cannabis have been and will continue to do whatever they have to, to obtain the medicine they need. The prohibition of medicinal cannabis only punishes us further for being sick at a time when we need love and compassion the most.  Don’t wait till you or someone you love is suffering to investigate this issue.
